{Project: Food Budget} Week 26 - Half Way!

Week 26 brings us to the half way mark of {Project: Food Budget}, how time flies!

The creamy avocado pasta was a hit with the fam last week, so it features again this week.
I'm forever reinventing my approach to menu planning as I ride the often frustrating road that is tight budget, many kids, many wants...and a good handful of "that's disgusting" (plural)
This week I'm all about simple - save the trouble, it's not likely to be appreciated!
That said, still driven by fresh ingrediants, simple but beautiful flavours and as always, a lot of lemons, fresh herbs, and garlic:D

  • 6 to feed, 3 big ones and 3 smaller ones.
  • 2 meat meals a week and 5 vegetarian.
  • 4 packed lunches per day.

The Week 26 Participating Blogs:

  1. Isn't it always the case that the most time intensive meals get the "that's disgusting" feedback, while the simple and fresh flavor combo's get the most fanfare?!

Looks like a great menu to me.

  2. Your menu ideas look great. I get the "that's disgusting" all the time:)
